Social Media Producer and Administrative Assistant


Description:
The Wilkinson Young Singers Fund (WYSF) seeks a Boston-area, part-time assistant to support our awards and performing arts program for emerging classical singers. Responsibilities include managing our social media presence (approximately 2 posts per week), monitoring and responding to the WYSF inbox, communicating with award applicants during our annual competition cycle, updating our website, and helping with seasonal event coordination. Workload is flexible and varies by season, with the busiest period in the spring/first half of the year (annual competition plus, every other year, a recital). 


Qualifications:
Experience using social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook to create and publish posts. Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage email communications, track deadlines, and work independently. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable supporting a small nonprofit organization. Familiarity with the Boston-area classical music or vocal performance community is a plus, but not required. APPLICANT MUST LIVE IN THE BOSTON-AREA to be able to support the organization during events.
