School Liaison (Greenfeld) 

 

Seeking a community-based School Liaison to join our Family Resource Center Team. The Community Action Family Center in Greenfield is a vibrant community hub. We offer opportunities for fun, learning, and support for caregivers and their children and youth. We provide a welcoming space and inclusive culture for families and staff with diverse identities and experiences. We prioritize addressing barriers. 

 

Our School Liaison develops and maintains relationships with school communities to identify and prevent CRAs (Children Requiring Assistance). Are you interested in working in an environment where every day brings something new? Do you have experience related to providing direct services and support using a strength-based and trauma-informed approach? In this role you will work collaboratively with local schools to help families and youth navigate education- and school-related concerns and needs. You will support case management and the referral process between DCF, Juvenile Courts, public schools and the Family Center. You will also work with Family Center team members to coordinate services, create inviting programs and provide resources for families to address challenges they may face.

Full-time, onsite position including some weekday evening & Saturday morning hours with flexible scheduling, $21.19-$22.48/hour. Bi-lingual/bi-cultural (Spanish/Latinx) preferred and language differential provided. Experience providing case management to youth and families required. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, safe driving record, and satisfactory CORI required.
