This is a full-time remote paid job with employment benefits. Employee is required to be located in Massachusetts or neighboring states (NH, RI, CT, VT, ME) and occasionally commute to the Greater Boston area. Work hours are Monday-Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, but occasional weekend and evening availability will be necessary. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Project Manager provides support for the project management, fundraising, and administrative functions of the non-profit. Remote work requires timely attendance of virtual meetings, presence via Slack, availability via phone, and attendance of occasional in-person meetings. Additionally, some project management, administrative, and fundraising duties may also require physical presence. Knowledge of Ukrainian and Russian is preferred. 
 
Qualifications:
·      2-3 years of experience in the non-profit field
·      Passion for volunteering and helping people
 
Skills: 
·      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Well-developed organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work well under pressure
  • Be a problem-solver and be able to manage time and tasks effectively without close supervision
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
 
1.     Project Management
•           Plan, direct, coordinate, implement, execute, control, and complete projects, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments, and goals of the organization
·               Create a project plan, administer everyday workflow of all processes, and provide support to all volunteers and team members
•           Identify and resolve project issues and implement improvement plans
·               Maintain all project plans and ensure compliance to time frame.  Collaborate with stakeholders for all implementation processes
 
2.     Administrative
·               Be a liaison between the team of volunteers and the Executive Director
•           Coordinate with the team to resolve all issues within required time frame and recommend appropriate changes to all policies and procedures.  Evaluate and adjust implementation for team, as needed.
·               Coordinate and train volunteers to assist with less complex daily transactional work such as data input, clerical support, organization of supplies, etc.
·               Support the development of proposals, budgets, and reports
•           Keep track of donations and process required paperwork  
•           Understand and maintain compliance with government regulations on nonprofits
·               Any other duties and responsibilities 
 
3.     Fundraising
•           Engage in virtual and/or in-person outreach to build, develop, and grow partnerships 
•           Assist with planning of new fundraisers 
·               Maintain a database, engage, and retain donors
