Job Description
- Timeline: Accepting applications until September 10, 2024
- Compensation: $20-$30 per hour depending on candidate experience and skillset, negotiable
- Hours: 10 hours per week, spread across 2 or 3 days per week as agreeable by all parties
- Location: at the C-10 office located in Amesbury, MA with potential for hybrid work from home/office after 3 months
- About the role: The Programs and Operations Coordinator will lead research and preparation efforts to help the organization achieve its goal of educating and empowering local citizens about emergency preparedness, and personal and environmental health relative to their proximity to the Seabrook Station Nuclear Power Plant. This position will work primarily in support of the Executive Director and also in support of administrative tasks for the Network Administrator. C-10 is a scientific evidence-led organization, deeply rooted in North Shore, MA and Seacoast, NH communities. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparing documentation for grants (training will be provided)
- Managing online resources
- Managing the Program events calendar
- Processing payments for vendors and suppliers
- Attending staff meetings and taking minutes
- Responding to emails and answering calls
- Maintaining office calendars and sending out reminders of impending appointments
- Typing letters and reports as may be required from time to time
- Compiling and sending bulk mailings
- Proofreading and making copies of documents
- Assisting in the planning and overseeing significant events
- Assisting in managing the budget for special and routine events
- Acting as a liaison between different groups in the organization

Preferred Professional Experience:
- Minimum Associates Degree or equivalent 2 years’ experience in a related field
- Experience working for a nonprofit organization or small business
- experience in word processing and office programs
- Ability to occasionally work flexible hours, including evenings and/or weekends for events

The C-10 mission is to monitor and advocate for the safety of Seabrook Station nuclear power plant in order to protect public health and the environment in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and beyond. C-10 accomplishes this through three programs: Radiological Environmental Monitoring, Public Outreach and Education, and Research and Advocacy.
