Job Description

Nurtury Early Education is seeking a dynamic Program Director to lead our Nurtury Learning Lab in Jamaica Plain. In this role, you’ll oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) and accreditation standards, guide staff development, and build strong partnerships with families. 

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop early education teaching staff at our Nurtury Learning Lab.
  • Maintain compliance, quality standards, and smooth operations at the program.
  • Support curriculum planning and program improvement.
  • Oversee enrollment, schedules, budgets, and early learning center needs.
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with families and the community.

Qualifications:
  • Hold an EEC Director II certification (required).
  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in EEC or related field.
  • Experienced with 3–5+ years in early childhood program leadership.
  • Strong in leadership, communication, coaching, operations, and team building.
  • Knowledgeable about EEC licensing, accreditation standards, and best practices.
