Viability, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access, inclusion, and opportunity for individuals with disabilities and other disadvantages. Viability, Inc. serves more than 4,000 individuals annually across Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, and Oklahoma through programs focused on employment, job training, skill development, community living, and personal growth. With more than 425 employees, the organization connects individuals' strengths, interests, and goals with meaningful opportunities that promote independence and long-term success.

Viability, Inc. seeks a President & CEO to lead the organization through its next phase of growth, innovation, and impact. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the President & CEO will provide strategic, operational, and organizational leadership across a complex, multi-state service delivery system. The new leader will strengthen financial sustainability, diversify resources, expand services and partnerships, advance technology-enabled improvements, unify operations, cultivate organizational talent, and deepen relationships with funders, government agencies, employers, community partners, and the broader disability community.
The ideal candidate will be a mission-driven, strategic, and accomplished executive with significant leadership experience in a comparably complex organization. They will bring strong financial management and operational capabilities, experience navigating varied regulatory and funding environments, and the ability to build alignment across geographically dispersed teams. The successful candidate will be a visible, approachable, and authentic leader who communicates clearly, builds trust, develops talent, and works effectively with a governing board. Experience overseeing multi-state or multi-jurisdictional operations, leading in human services, and advancing technology-enabled organizational improvement is highly desirable. An advanced degree is preferred; equivalent executive experience will also be considered.
