Location: 100% Remote (Office space available if needed)

Position Type: 20 hours per week (Flexible Hours)

Duration: 1-year appointment with potential for renewal based on performance and funding.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and talented Postdoctoral Researcher to join our dynamic Real World Evidence (RWE) team in 2025. This position is funded by a CDC grant focused on studying risk factors for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) through ARC, our large, ongoing natural history study. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge ALS research and help accelerate progress toward ending this disease.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Conduct comprehensive data analysis using multimodal datasets to identify and understand ALS risk factors.
  • Literature Review: Support systematic literature reviews to inform research methodologies and study designs.
  • Data Integration: Assist in establishing and managing an OMOP Common Data Model instance for standardized data analysis.
  • Collaboration: Partner with external organizations and research collaborators to advance study objectives.
  • Data Management: Develop and implement processes for regular data analysis, organization, and presentation.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Doctorate (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Biostatistics, Informatics, or a related field. Students currently in PhD programs will also be considered.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python or R
  • Desirable skills: Experience working with OMOP CDM or similar data models is highly desirable.
  • Collaboration: Strong communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to design and implement workflows for data management and reporting.
