Part-time Program Leader

Women's Money Matters

Job Description

Join a wonderful team of women who are passionate about empowering and accompanying women and girls on their financial wellness journeys! Women's Money Matters is a financial wellness and empowerment non-profit for women and girls living on low-incomes. Our program combines financial health workshops with personal, one-to-one volunteer coaching.

We are currently hiring for paid part-time Program Leaders who play a critical role in the smooth and effective implementation of our 12-week workshops and coaching. The Program Leader role requires organization, planning skills, and management abilities, while still having the ability to help a coach through a problem she may be having with her participant. It also entails encouraging participants to attend workshops on a consistent basis and actively participate with their coaches, ensuring that all coach and participant pairs are working together towards an achievable goal.

This part-time/hourly position requires approx 3-5 hours each week per assigned program, not to exceed 19 hours. Each program runs for 3-4 months and meets once a week.

The majority of our programs take place in the evenings, and are virtual. We are currently prioritizing Program Leaders who are located in or near Lowell, Lawrence, or Boston. We are recruiting Program Leaders for our virtual programs, but with the potential to lead in-person programming if you are located in or near these cities - especially in need of Program Leaders that can be available in the afternoon for our in-person youth programming. We are looking for Program Leaders for our English programs as well as our Spanish programs.
