Overview

Salary $53,000-$65,000
As a member of the marketing and communications team, your focus will be the implementation and tracking of marketing efforts, with a particular eye toward digital initiatives. Our ideal teammate will have experience with digital marketing technologies, strong technical, analytical, and project management skills, and an interest in using their talents in support of Advocates’ mission. This position can be hybrid or fully remote with a typical schedule of 9am-5pm EST. If you prefer to work in-person, you’ll work from our Framingham, MA location.

Responsibilities

  1. Track, analyze, and report metrics for all social media platforms, websites, and email campaigns.
  2. Set-up, report, and advise on Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other paid campaigns.
  3. Monitor reputation and manage updates on relevant third-party sites (Google Business, Glassdoor, Indeed, Yelp).
  4. Troubleshoot and optimize Advocates and affiliated websites in collaboration with contracted web developer.
  5. Serve as primary marketing technology liaison with web developer and other Advocates departments.
  6. Provide technical support and coaching to Marketing and Communications team members.
  7. Assist with technical aspects of content creation (e.g. basic video editing).
  8. Actively attend all supervision and staff meetings.
  9. Adhere to all principles related to the Advocates Way.
  10. Ensure that people we support are treated with dignity and respect in accordance with Advocates’ Human Rights policies.
  11. Perform all duties in accordance with the agency’s policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, computer science, business, or other related field with a minimum of 3 years related experience. Experience in nonprofit or healthcare is a plus, but not required.
  2. Demonstrated experience leveraging social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn to support marketing goals.
  3. Experience with website content management systems and marketing software platforms (eg: Drupal, Google Analytics, Google Ads, MailChimp, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.)
  4. Strongly prefer a candidate that will have a demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.
  5. Ability to communicate technical concepts with ease.
  6. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
  7. Experience with project management tools (Basecamp, Smartsheet, etc.) a plus.
  8. Must work well independently and collaboratively.
  9. Must possess excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
