Highlights of What You Will Do:

  • You will have the opportunity to migrate the HR applicant tracking platform to a new vendor with improvements for recruitment, hiring and benefit enrollment.
  • Administer the talent development process, including HRIM system, recruiting/candidate experience, onboarding and retention plans, making sure that we are well positioned to recruit and hire the best talent. 
  • Implement the organization's DEI recruitment plan and recruit candidates of diverse backgrounds for our positions across the commonwealth and support the hiring committee process in accordance with best practices, organizational priorities and SJE initiatives.
  • You will be part of our collective efforts to ensure that our internal culture is one where all staff, in particular those with underrepresented identities, are able to contribute and thrive. 
  • Ensure the effective interface with Employees, timely disseminate information and provide assistance to employees through face to face and electronic, Intranet and video conference support. 
  • Work alongside a group of talented HR colleagues who enjoy their jobs and are proud of the great work done by CES
  • Lead, develop and facilitate onboarding training and develop engaging methods for online and video instruction.  

Compensation: $60,000 to $80,000 - full time 40 hour work week.

Work location: Administrative Office, 97 Hawley Street, Northampton.  This is a hybrid work arrangement with 1 to 2 days onsite and 2-3 days remote scheduling.

Health Insurance is offered through Tufts/Harvard Pilgrim and includes two plan options: PPO with a self-funded Health Savings Account, and HMO with a Health Reimbursement Account funded by CES to support a portion of health insurance deductions.  FSA and Dependent Care accounts are available. Eligible for MA State Retirement.
