HEAD START INFANT EARLY CHILDHOOD MENTAL HEALTH CONSULTANT BONUS $2000
Community Action Pioneer Valley Head Start & Early Learning Programs provides relationship based, trauma informed care for children and families in our communities in Western Hampden, Hampshire and Franklin counties. We are looking to expand our team of specialists and are looking for a passionate individual to provide Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health consultation to educators and families of preschoolers, with opportunities to provide consultation to pregnant women and caregivers of infants and toddlers. This individual will also offer training and parent education; facilitate referrals to external agencies, and support educators in developing emotionally responsive classrooms.
Employee must be a licensed mental health professional with at least 1 year of early childhood mental health experience, and a strong background in the development of young children. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. 37.5 hours a week, full year, $24.72-$26.23. We offer training in Brazelton Touchpoint Approach and infant/early childhood mental health topics, reflective and administrative supervision in a collaborative work environment.
