Grant Operations Specialist

Brookline Community Foundation

Job Description

Brookline Community Foundation is looking for a Grant Operations Specialist to help strengthen and streamline our grantmaking processes ahead of our next grant cycles this fall. This is a part-time, short-term contract with a mix of hands-on support and behind-the-scenes systems work.

You’ll work closely with our Interim Executive Director—first by supporting the final stage of our current grant cycle, then by helping us document, refine, and improve how we run things moving forward.

Experience with Foundant GLM (or similar grantmaking software) is required.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the Interim Executive Director during the current grant allocation process
  • Document how our grantmaking process works today
  • Spot opportunities to make things clearer, more efficient, and more consistent
  • Help prepare timelines, documentation, and systems for our FY2027 grant cycles

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience with Foundant GLM or similar grantmaking software
  • Someone who can translate messy processes into clear, usable systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Comfort working independently in a flexible, part-time role
  • Clear communicator who collaborates well
