Fundraising/Development Manager

Position: Development Manager
Employment Type: Full-time (Part-time considered for the right candidate)
Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 annually (depending on experience) 

Construct Center for Affordable Housing seeks an experienced Development Manager to strengthen individual giving and enhance donor engagement. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our enthusiastic board, staff, and community ambassadors to increase investment in our mission and vision. 

Key Responsibilities 

○      Cultivate relationships with existing donors to enhance engagement and support.
○      Identify and prospect for new major donor opportunities.
○      Maintain and update the donor database to track contributions and interactions.
○      Ensure timely and effective acknowledgment of donations.

2. Development Planning

○      Collaborate with leadership to create a comprehensive Development Plan, focusing on fundraising and communications.
○      Implement the Development Plan in FY 2025, including specific strategies for outreach and engagement.
3. Increase Organizational Capacity

○      Assess and address funding for the growing need for affordable housing options in the South Berkshires.

○      Develop funding strategies to enhance economic stability for low to moderate-income households.
4. Public Perception and Community Engagement

○      Work closely with the Communications and Content Manager to promote Construct’s mission, vision, and priorities. 

○      Strengthen community support through accurate messaging and outreach efforts.
Qualifications

Proven experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, or related fields.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and stakeholders. 
Familiarity with donor management systems and fundraising software. 
Passion for affordable housing and community development.
