Job Description


Summary:
Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts seeks an experienced curriculum writer for the development of age level inclusive curriculum. Working with the Director of Girl Program, the curriculum writer will align work with the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to support the development and evaluation of Girl Scout programs.
 
Curriculum development is a key element in supporting our mission of building girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place. The focus of this contract assignment is on producing high quality curriculum and evaluation that will support Girl Scouts in eastern Massachusetts.

Responsibilities:
·       Develop program curriculum that is age/Girl Scout level appropriate and inclusive.
·       Create program evaluations.
·       Ensure programs and activities follow risk management and safety guidelines.
·       Create programing that is welcoming, inclusive, and culturally responsive.

Qualifications: 
·       3+ years of curriculum development, demonstrating competency and evaluation outcomes
·       Proven track record of writing curriculum
·       Girl Scout experience a plus
·       Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
·       Clear and effective verbal and written communication with exceptional attention to detail.
 
Duration:
10-15 hours per month for 3 months
