Job Description

The Family Partner uses knowledge gained from life experience to empower, educate and support families facing a variety of challenges. Functioning as part of a close-knit team, the Family Partner supports families in a variety of circumstances, and facilitates parent support groups and evidence-based parent education classes. Position is based at the Cape Cod Family Resource Center.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a human service field and (6) months’ experience working with target population OR Associates Degree in human services field and (1) year experience working with target population OR High School Diploma (GED) and (2) years’ experience working with target population
  • Must have lived experience as a parent/caregiver of a child/youth with emotional, behavioral or learning challenges and experience accessing systems of support for your child’s needs
  • Experience working with diverse families and cultures
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the community
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and occasional weekends
