Energy Programs Scheduler
  
Community Action of Pioneer Valley Energy Programs include Weatherization, and Heating System Repair and Replacement, and Home Repairs. These programs serve thousands of clients every year throughout Franklin and Hampshire Counties and the North Quabbin Region.
 
The Energy Programs Scheduler's primary responsibilities include answering the weatherization and repair phone lines, scheduling appointments, and transferring files to technicians. The ideal candidate will possess excellent listening skills and the ability to demonstrate patience and a non-judgmental attitude when dealing with people experiencing crises. They will have sensitivity to cultural and socioeconomic diversity and the needs of individuals with low incomes while understanding poverty and its impact on individuals and families. The Scheduler must be proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office applications, database programs, calendars, and an ability to quickly learn new software. Knowledge of Franklin, Hampshire & N. Quabbin region agencies and resources, excellent customer service and communication skills, and the ability to process information quickly and accurately are necessary.
 
Minimum qualifications include High school diploma or GED, one year's experience in a professional setting or applicable work experience working with diverse individuals and families that have low incomes. Additional appropriate education may be substituted for experience or additional directly related experience may be substituted for education. Bilingual (Spanish/Russian) preferred. This is a 37.5 hrs/wk position. Pay Range: $18.02 - $19.11/hr, plus bilingual differential if applicable.
