Community Servings is a non-profit food and nutrition program focused on the nutritional needs of underserved populations across the state. Over the past 32 years, we have delivered over 10 million free, scratch-made meals to individuals experiencing chronic and critical illnesses in the context of medical nutrition therapy.
Working closely with the Chief Development Officer and Director of Development, reporting to the Donor Services Coordinator, this position is responsible for varied administrative duties including data management, donor acknowledgements, mass mailing production (invitations, acknowledgments, etc.) and control, and special events support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Data and Finance Management
- Performs data entry of donations and donor information (physical checks, in-kind donations )
- Processes individual gifts and corporate and foundation grants
- Codes and tracks matching gifts
- Processes credit cards
- Works closely with the Finance department to ensure that all income is properly coded and processed
- Ensures that all monthly giving is properly downloaded and tracked in donor database
- Prepares batch reports and acknowledgement letters
- Prepares data for imports (party lists, volunteers, etc.)
- Updates donor database with changes to contact information and gift coding
- Generate invoices for unpaid pledges
- Identifies and corrects incorrect or improperly formatted contact, account, and donation data
- Continually cleans data within SalesForce
Special Events
- Works closely with the Senior Manager of Special Events. Assist on projects, available time willing
Serves as liaison to various volunteer committees, specifically the Balloon Pop sub-committee of the LifeSavor planning committee and the contact for Pie in the Sky Pie Sellers
- Is the lead staff person to assist the LifeSavor Balloon Pop co-chairs in securing donations for that portion of the event which raises $30,000
- Is the lead staff person working with Pie in the Sky sellers to ensure they have the tools needed to sell pies for the event which raises over $850,000 annually
- Works with the Senior Special Events Manager to assist with all aspects of LifeSavor and Pie in the Sky to ensure the events are successful
- Works on-site at events, including volunteer management and donor relations
- Assist the Senior Special Events Manager in the planning and implementing of smaller events. Manage invitation lists, RSVP lists, and other duties as necessary.
- Processes pie payments and pie orders for Pie in the Sky
Qualifications/Requirements:

- Organized and detail-oriented
- Able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced office environment
- Expertise in MS Office products required, experience with SalesForce or other database platform desirable
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with employees, volunteers, vendors, and clients of different cultural and ethnic persuasions is a must
- Night and weekend work may be required before and during select events.
- Must show proof of COVID-19 Vaccination
Education/Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
