Community Resources & Advocacy Manager  
(Greenfield- with satellite work in Orange and Northampton)  
 
Oversee and coordinate the Community Resources & Advocacy Program (CR&A). The purpose of the CR&A program is to provide supportive services and referrals for community members throughout the Community Action Pioneer Valley (CAPV) service area. CR&A receives approximately 3,500+ calls per year and annually works with hundreds of households. CR&A staff answer the CR&A information and referral phone line daily and make internal and external referrals, as well as screen callers for eligibility for programs offered by CR&A. CR&A staff help participants apply for public benefit programs, such as SNAP, and financial assistance for housing stability, utility shut-off prevention and heating assistance. The Manager is responsible for oversight of all aspects of CR&A, including: hiring, supervising and training staff; developing and updating program policies and procedures; managing data input and reporting requirements; approving participant financial assistance applications; processing financial transactions; staying up to date on public benefit programs; and keeping abreast of new and emerging service integration approaches and service models. 
 
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in human services or a related field and 3 years of related work and supervisory experience. Additional appropriate education may be substituted for experience or additional directly related experience may be substituted for education. Experience working with marginalized communities and individuals with low incomes. And experience with program coordination and case management. 

 
This is a 37.5 hr/week position. The salary pay range for this exempt position is $57,477-$60,980/year.
