Community Systems, Inc. is a mission-driven nonprofit supporting people with disabilities in finding happiness at home, in relationships, and in their communities. Operating in MA, CT, VA, and DE, we empower individuals and grow leaders—inside and out.

We’re seeking a strategic, fun-loving financial leader to join our 6-person senior leadership team as CFO. This is your opportunity to lead the financial health of five nonprofit entities with a combined budget of over $100M.

🔑 What You’ll Do
  • Guide a team of 4 Finance Directors across multiple states
  • Lead board finance meetings with clear reporting & insights
  • Oversee payroll, budgeting, audits, and general accounting
  • Identify trends, drive innovation, and refine financial processes
  • Manage financials for our management company
  • Support strategic decision-making with smart analytics
  • Travel as needed across our regions and to leadership retreats

✅ What You Bring
  • Strong nonprofit finance experience
  • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting & compliance
  • Confident communicator at all org levels (incl. Board)
  • Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • CPA or equivalent is a plus
